1. Who we are, and what accepting these terms means

By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to these terms.

2. What Restroom Finder is

Most restroom listings come from public map data. Nobody at Restroom Finder has confirmed, in person, that each one exists. We do not manage or own any restroom, and we cannot guarantee that one is open, clean, accessible, or even still there. Use your judgment, and treat every listing as a starting point, not a promise.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything posted from it. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.

4. What you contribute, and what you allow us to do with it

You keep ownership of everything you contribute: restrooms you add, photos, ratings, comments, and answers to our questions.

To show that content to other users — in the app, on the website, in search results — we need your permission to use it. By contributing, you give us a license that is worldwide, non-exclusive and free of charge to display, copy and distribute your contribution as part of the service.

This license survives if you delete your account: content already published stays up, no longer linked to your account, so that other users can keep relying on it. It does not give us the right to sell your contributions outside the service or to claim we created them.

5. Rules

• Do not add restrooms that do not exist.
• Do not upload photos that are inappropriate, unrelated to a restroom, or that show identifiable people without their consent.
• Do not post anyone else's personal information.
• Do not harass, threaten or impersonate other users.

6. Reports

If you see content that breaks these rules, write to [email protected] describing what you found. We review reports and remove content that violates these terms, and we can suspend or close accounts that repeatedly break them. We do not promise a fixed time frame for every case.

7. The service is provided "as is"

Restroom Finder can be wrong, incomplete or unavailable. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that any listing is correct or that the service will always work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the app, including a trip to a restroom that turns out to be closed, gone, or different from what was listed.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Restroom Finder after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
